1625 Independent People & About Youth Homelessness
Youth Homelessness is on a high, with 121,000 young people in the UK seeking support from their local authority last year. Young people with experiences of homelessness are one of the most vulnerable groups in society and face numerous challenges. We want to tackle this problem so that they can transition to independence and have the opportunity to thrive in adulthood.
1625ip work hard to empower young people so they can make changes in their lives and access opportunities of stable housing, homes and employment. Good relationships, purpose and a home are things we all need and 1625ip fight for our young people to have them too.
We have been tackling youth homelessness for over 30 years and we are not slowing down now. However, we need your help to reach all the young people in the South West who need our help. There are more than the 2,000 young people who we already support. We believe that hope is achievable and tangible.
